Sphinx
open-sourceNewA Git hook that quizzes you on your AI's code before you push
About
Sphinx is a Git hook for agent-assisted development. When you (or your agent) push to a protected branch, a reviewer model that never saw your chat reads the diff and asks you what the change does when things go wrong; answer correctly and the push continues. It works with Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, OpenCode, Pi or plain Git, runs on your existing agent, OpenRouter or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, never opens .env files or keys, and logs every skip made with sphinx yolo. Free and MIT licensed; install with npm install -g sphinx-understand.
