Slowave
open-sourceNewOpen-source local memory for AI coding agents, shared across tools
About
Slowave is an open-source MCP memory server that runs on your machine. It carries decisions, constraints and reusable procedures across coding sessions and tools, so you don't restate them when you open a new session or switch from Claude Code to Codex. Your agent reports which recalled context helped; useful memories get stronger, and stale ones lose priority and decay. Memory stays in a local SQLite database, and a local dashboard shows what was saved, where it came from and when it was used. It needs no LLM API key: retrieval and upkeep use local embeddings. Works with Claude Code, Copilot CLI, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, Windsurf/Devin Desktop, Cline and Claude Desktop. Install with pipx install slowave (Python 3.11+, macOS, Linux, Windows). Free and open source (AGPL-3.0).
