Lemon Squeezy is a merchant of record for SaaS and digital products. It handles checkout, subscriptions, global sales tax and fraud protection, and adds license keys, an online storefront, affiliates, a customer portal and usage-based billing. Pricing is 5% + 50¢ per transaction with no monthly fee, plus surcharges for some international, PayPal and subscription payments. Stripe owns Lemon Squeezy, and its January 2026 update points users toward Stripe Managed Payments.
